MailChimp integration
Nutshell integrates with MailChimp for easy publishing and sending of email newsletters.
Initial setup
Start by entering your MailChimp API Key to the MailChimp section of the Setup > Integrations page.
Opted-in Confirmation emails will be sent when adding contacts to a MailChimp list. If you have their permission, and you follow the MailChimp Terms of Use, checking this box will not send the confirmation email.
Create field creates a custom date field titled "Nutshell Signup" in MailChimp and auto sets the date when emails are added through the integration. MailChimp blog post about autoresponder triggers.
Export contacts to MailChimp
Contact can be exported from a filtered list using the "Export to MailChimp" link on the Contacts tab.
Send welcome will trigger the sending of the Final Welcome Email. See this MailChimp knowldege base article.
Custom fields with the same name in Nutshell and MailChimp will be automatically mapped.
Add as step template
Export to MailChimp list may also be used as an action on a sales process. Addresses from the first account and all contacts on the lead will be added to the specified MailChimp list.
Activity change log
Nutshell periodically checks MailChimp for events and logs them in the contact change log. Click on "show changes" on the right side of the timeline to see MailChimp notifications.
