Built-in report types
Nutshell reportingNutshell takes a fresh approach to reports. Instead of focusing on raw data exports, which need to be pivoted by a spreadsheet guru for useful data, Nutshell delivers clear, analytical reports out of the box.
To get started, click the Reports tab, and create a new report. With all of Nutshell's reports, you can immediately start editing the filters and parameters of a new report, and save when you've created what you're looking for
To save any report, click the Save a copy button at the top right. You'll be prompted to name the report, and optionally share it with the rest of the company. If you share a report, it will appear on the home page of each user's reports tab.
All reports include summaries and charts at the top, as well as full tabular data tables. When using custom reports, you can export this data to a standard CSV file.
Forecast reports

Forecast reports are forward-looking reports that compare sales quotas, actual sales, and pipeline. You can use the Use lead confidence for pipeline calculation option to decrease pipeline figures, based upon a lead's confidence. A $10,000 lead with a 50% confidence will only add $5,000 to the pipeline with this setting.
You can break down these figures by product, competitor, and source. You can also limit the entire report to a single market.
Performance reports

Performance reports are reports that compare two periods - in additional to general sales trends, you can break these numbers down by products, competitors, sources and markets. Note that Nutshell uses the date a lead was closed and the final value to calculate sales.
Activity reports

Activity reports allow you to see the number of logged activities (including sent emails) for each user in the company. This information can be aggregate into company-wide totals, or seen at a user or team level. If you've defined activity benchmarks you'll see how users fared against those benchmarks.
Custom reports

Custom reports are the most powerful report you can create in Nutshell. Use the grey sidebar to modify the filters, and the data will be updated immediately. You can filter leads by properties on the lead itself, or on the contacts and accounts associated with the lead. All active filters are displayed in the brown sidebar box at the top.
At the top of the data table, there are controls to expand the table into a wider display. You can bulk edit all leads in the report, or choose different columns to display. Columns can be rearranged by dragging and dropping. Click a column to sort.
To export all the data in the report as a CSV file, click the Export button at the top right. You can change the columns in the exported file by adding them to the actual report.
Sales analytics
Nutshell also includes at-a-glance sales analytics reports on the home page of the reports tab. Read more about sales analytics reports.
