Whether you’re on Foundation, Growth, Pro, Business, or Enterprise, you can connect with FormStack through Zapier at no extra cost. You’ll just need a Zapier account (free or paid, depending on volume) and a FormStack Documents account.

The integration uses Zapier to connect the two platforms. When a trigger occurs in your Nutshell CRM (like a new lead or opportunity), Zapier automatically pulls that data and maps it into a FormStack Documents template, generating a personalized document instantly. You can then deliver it via email, FormStack Sign for eSignatures, or other channels—all without leaving Nutshell.

App Marketplace integrations (also called Instant integrations) are direct connections built into Nutshell for popular apps—they’re one-click setup with real-time sync. Zapier integrations are third-party automation workflows offering more flexibility and access to 6,000+ apps, but with slightly longer setup and polling-based sync (typically every 5-15 minutes). FormStack Documents uses Zapier.

Any CRM data you map syncs automatically—typically contact names, email addresses, phone numbers, company information, deal amounts, and custom fields. You control what data flows into your document templates through FormStack’s merge field mapping.
