What is Nutshell’s Activity report?

The Activity report is an interactive dashboard inside the Nutshell Reports section of the app that visualizes every call, meeting, email, and note your team logs. By pairing activity volume and time with lead outcomes, you’ll answer the two questions that matter most:

  1. Are we putting in the right effort?
  2. Is that effort turning into closed deals?

What’s new in the Activity report?

We’ve made a few neat enhancements to our Activity report to ensure you get the most from your team’s activity data, including:

  • Clearer data insights: Users without data are automatically hidden, icons clearly highlight the activity type, and average activity duration and quota progress figures are more prominent.
  • Richer metrics: Track the time spent on activities, see those that include AI summaries or sales rep notes, and surface any unlogged interactions, so nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Smarter filters: A new Log status drop-down (All, Logged, and Unlogged) and consolidated “Include emails/notes” options let you filter your activity data in seconds.
  • Additional default types: New Click-to-call, voicemail, and video-conferencing categories ensure calls and meetings—scheduled or ad-hoc—auto-log with the right labels.

Nutshell’s Activity report updates give managers the tools to keep their fingers on the pulse of team productivity and make it easier to identify coaching opportunities to optimize sales process success.

How do I get started with Nutshell’s enhanced Activity report?

The Activity report is available to users on our Sales Growth plan and above. Simply go to Reports > Activity in Nutshell and choose your date range to start generating your report. Admins can head to Settings > Organization > Activity types to fine-tune quotas and default activity types for tailored reporting needs.
