Getting started with Nutshell’s Aircall integration
Connecting to Aircall is quick and easy. From the Calls page, simply open your phone settings and click the Aircall icon. Then, just log in to start the integration.
Note: Your admin will set up your Aircall instance for your entire company. All sales reps have to do is log in using their work credentials.

Do both my Aircall and Nutshell accounts need to use the same email address?
Yes—your Aircall email must be added to your Nutshell profile before connecting the integration. This ensures you’re recognized in both systems and can be properly added to your company’s Aircall setup. If you use different emails, add your Aircall email to your Nutshell account under Settings > Profile.

Absolutely. You can disable automatic call logging during setup and still manually log calls anytime. In Nutshell, go to Sales > Calls and click the Log activity button for any unlogged call. Manual logging gives you full control over which calls appear in your timeline and when.

How long does it take for a call to appear in Nutshell after it ends?
Calls appear almost instantly—within seconds of completion. Once a call ends, Nutshell automatically fetches the call log and displays it on your Sales > Calls page. The AI-generated summary appears at the same time, so you can review what happened without delay.

What information do the AI-generated call summaries include?
AI summaries capture the key points from your conversation—main topics discussed, call type (inbound/outbound), duration, and outcome. Hover over the summary in the call table to get a quick overview. Summaries help you catch up fast and prep for follow-ups without reviewing the full call recording.

What should I do if a call isn’t logging automatically to a contact?
First, check that automatic logging is enabled in your phone settings. If it is, the issue is usually that the contact isn’t found or multiple matches exist in Nutshell. Verify the phone number has a single, unique contact match in your database. You can always manually log the call using the Log activity button as a workaround.
