The Nutshell Partner Program Has Moved to PartnerStack!

What does this change mean for partners?

To continue participating in our partner program, you’ll need to create a PartnerStack account. If you already have a PartnerStack account, you can join our program using your existing account.

We know this is a big change, but don’t worry! We’ll be here to help and answer questions every step of the way. If you were partnered with us via Impact, you should have received additional information about the move via email throughout the transition. Don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions!

Why PartnerStack?

PartnerStack’s partnerships management software is a natural fit for recurring revenue SaaS programs like ours, and we believe making this switch will provide an improved experience for all of our partners through improved functionality, transparency, and clarity.

What is the timeline for the move?

The move to PartnerStack is complete as of June 1st.

Here’s a review of the transition timeline:

• Partners should have received an email invitation to join our program on PartnerStack on May 22nd. If you don’t see your invite email, let us know.
• Partners had until the end of May to accept the invite, set up their account in PartnerStack, and update their tracking links
• May 31st was the last day that Impact tracking links worked. Actions tracked after this date are paid through PartnerStack instead of Impact.
• If you didn’t set up your PartnerStack account or switch out your tracking links by June 1st, don’t worry. After May 31st, referrals will not be tracked until you sign up for PartnerStack, but you can join our program on PartnerStack at any point.

What do I need to do to migrate?

With the help of PartnerStack, we’ll walk you through the steps you need to complete throughout the transition process. Here’s a look at what to expect:

1. Accept the invite to Partnerstack

We sent you an invite to join our program on PartnerStack on May 22nd from the email address hello[at]partnerstackmail.com. Keep an eye out for this email and accept the invite when you receive it.

If you do not have a PartnerStack account, you’ll be guided through creating one after accepting the invite. If you do have a PartnerStack account, you can simply join our program with your existing account.

Note: If you have an existing PartnerStack account that is under a different email than the one you use for Impact, let us know so we can invite you to join our program with your existing PartnerStack account.

2. Set up your PartnerStack account

If you’re new to PartnerStack, follow the instructions shared in the invite email to set up your account. Accept the terms of service for our program in PartnerStack, and ensure you provide payment information on the commissions page so that you can receive commission payments.

3. Update your tracking links

After May 31st, any tracking links generated through Impact will no longer work for tracking referrals. After this date, you will need to use PartnerStack tracking links. You’ll find your tracking links on the links tab on the Nutshell program page. By June 1st, update all tracking links in your content to the tracking links found in your PartnerStack account.

What about payments for leads and customers I’ve already referred?

Our team worked with PartnerStack to ensure you continue to receive commission payments for all customers you’ve referred and receive credit for all leads you’ve referred. You’ll also be able to see historical referral data in PartnerStack.

Here’s some important information to be aware of:

• Commissions for any transactions that occur before June 1st will be paid out through Impact. Payments for these transactions will continue to be processed through Impact even after June 1st.
• Any trials you referred before June 1st that have not yet become customers will be attributed to your partner account in PartnerStack. If those leads become customers after June 1st, you will receive commission payments for them through PartnerStack.
• Commission for any transactions that occur after June 1st, including monthly payments for previously referred customers, will be processed through PartnerStack. You will need to join our program in PartnerStack to receive these commission payments.
