William Craig didn’t set out to build one of North America’s fastest-growing digital agencies. He started in a dorm room at Shippensburg University in 1996, building websites for spare cash between classes. His first client paid him $900 for a flat-file database. The second paid $500 for a portfolio site. By the time he graduated, he had a partner, a business model, and a vision.

That vision, what he would later formalize as the “revenue acceleration” philosophy, centered on the radical idea of measuring marketing in terms of client revenue growth, not clicks or impressions.

Today, that philosophy underpins WebFX’s approach.
