These features help your team recap Zoom meetings, keep track of important details, improve collaboration, and get the bigger picture of how Zoom meetings fit into the larger relationship with prospects and customers.

Open any in-progress or logged Zoom activity and check the boxes next to “Transcribe this call after logging” and “Automatically summarize this call” to generate your AI-powered transcription and summary. These will automatically process once the Zoom call is logged, and may take a few moments to appear in your logged activity.
You can then access the transcription and summary from anywhere you see the Zoom activity, such as the Activities section on the Sales dashboard and from the timelines of any Person, Company, or Lead associated with the activity.

Unlike Zoom’s AI Companion, which keeps notes within Zoom, Nutshell connects meeting insights to your sales pipeline, customer timelines, and deal history—giving you complete context for every conversation.
You can use Nutshell’s Zoom AI features with any Zoom plan, including the free Basic plan. The AI transcription and summarization happen within Nutshell, not Zoom, so you don’t need Zoom’s paid AI Companion. However, you’ll need a Nutshell Sales Business or Enterprise plan to access AI credits for transcriptions and summaries.
Zoom transcripts and summaries are stored in Nutshell as part of your activity records and remain accessible as long as your account is active. They’re attached to contact, company, and lead timelines, so you can reference them anytime. If you cancel your account, your data may be retained in archive records per Nutshell’s standard data retention policies.
Yes, you can add your own notes to any Zoom activity in Nutshell. While the AI-generated transcript and summary remain as originally created, you can supplement them with additional context, corrections, or follow-up details using the notes field. This ensures your team has both the automated record and your manual insights in one place.
Yes, you can access Zoom transcripts and summaries from Nutshell’s mobile app. Once a meeting is logged and processed, the transcript and summary appear on contact timelines and in your activity list, which you can view from any device where you access Nutshell, including iOS and Android mobile apps.
