Nutshell Quotes & Invoices

Going forward, Nutshell Quotes will be known as Nutshell Quotes & Invoices. That’s right! We’re rolling out the ability to create unlimited custom invoices now directly from Nutshell.
Convert a Quote to an Invoice in a single click or create one from scratch. Track the status of each invoice from Draft to Ready, Sent, Overdue, and Paid, all from the Nutshell Invoices page, complete with filtering and sorting capabilities.
Psst! Keep an eye out for e-Sign and contract support additions coming soon.
As of June 2026, this product is now called Proposals & Invoices. Nutshell customers can now create, send, track and get signatures on quotes, invoices, proposals, and contracts without leaving their CRM.
Nutshell MCP Server Integration

We thought, “Wouldn’t it be great if you could connect your Nutshell data directly to ChatGPT?” And our product development team said, “Hold my coffee!”
With the upcoming MCP server integration, you’ll have the ability to integrate ChatGPT and other AI tools with your Nutshell account, ask it questions, and get answers specific to your account data.
Faster mobile activity logging

We understand that taking care of administrative tasks for busy salespeople on the road can be a challenge. That’s why we’re streamlining our activity logging process for Nutshell mobile app users.
With it, Android and iPhone users can quickly log activities on the go, so that sales teams can continue to track and manage sales-critical activities across pipelines in real time.
Task report

Looking for a way to keep tabs on how efficient your team is when it comes to completing tasks? This summer, we’re giving you the tools to level up team task management with the ability to generate detailed task reports.
Monitor task completion rates over specific periods for deeper task insights, and take advantage of flexible task sorting and filtering from your team members’ dashboards.
New lead page

More exciting news! Your Nutshell Lead page is getting a facelift (multiple, actually)! We’re bringing you a sleeker, easier-to-organize interface to help your team spot important deal-related details faster.
Here’s just some of the Lead page updates you can look forward to:
- Collapsible sections to cut clutter
- Clearer action buttons to accelerate workflows
- Smarter grouping and customizable field visibility for enhanced organization
- One unified bar for logging notes, tasks, emails, and activities for increased efficiency
Psst! Soon, we’ll be including an AI-powered Lead page feature that lets your team know what to do next to advance your lead through the pipeline, based on timeline, goals, and custom field data. Nutshell’s AI can tell you “What’s Next” for every lead.
Activity reporting 2.0

There’s a shining new Activity report coming your way, which will reveal additional metrics, include more filters, and give you a fresher, cleaner user interface.
The Activity report 2.0 brings with it the ability to analyse performance by logged and unlogged emails, notes, duration, and AI summaries, as well as average time and quota progress. These deeper insights will help sales managers identify coaching opportunities and link rep activities to tangible sales outcomes.
More phone integrations

Our 2025 summer roadmap includes a few more phone integrations and additions. For one, you’ll have access to automatic phone call logging and AI-powered summarizations.
But we’re also increasing our pool of instant integrations to include more top phone call providers, like RingCentral and others like it.

Pipeline starter packs

Another exciting Sales suite feature addition this summer is our pipeline starter packs—fully-functional pipeline templates designed to match your sales process, and can be set up in minutes.
Start selling faster with preconfigured pipeline stages, goals, tasks, personal email sequences, and drip campaigns housed in five different processes, including:

The ability to monitor and report on your lead activation rate and where your best leads come from in Nutshell is incredibly useful. But wouldn’t it be great if you could also track the revenue generated by channel or campaign from your CRM?
Get ready to boost marketing promotion and budget optimization for greater campaign success with Nutshell’s revenue attribution report, coming your way this summer. Know your biggest revenue-generating channels and campaigns for better campaign decision-making and business growth.
AI chatbot

Big news for Nutshell Engagement users—We’re introducing an AI-powered chatbot to our feature offerings, allowing you to answer website visitor questions and capture leads around the clock.
Create a custom knowledge base for your AI chatbot trained by your website and specific documentation you provide—no need to code or manually train the AI. Tailor your chatbot’s name, tone, hand-off rules, and more to establish on-brand conversations that turn website visitors into leads.

Collect Scheduler bookings via chat

Turn conversations into 1:1 engagement opportunities with Web chat and Scheduler combined. Adding the Scheduler booking option to your website chat tool makes it easier for prospects to get hold of your team and opens the door for more deal opportunities.
Your website visitors will be able to book meetings with your team directly from the Web chat widget on your site. All events created from the chat will automatically be added to your calendar, and you’ll have the option to automate lead creation if a visitor books a meeting via the chat.
BIG “Smalls” – Quality of Life Improvements
Nutshell users can also look forward to several smaller, but impactful, updates this summer.
Organize your draft pipelines

Create draft pipelines for greater control and improve pipeline management with new Active, Locked, and Archived statuses.
Automate new leads when a lead is closed

Save time and maintain momentum by automatically creating a lead in your follow-up pipeline—like an onboarding or reengagement pipeline—after the lead is marked as Won or Lost.
Organize products by category

Enhance product filtering, quoting, invoicing, and reporting with the ability to group your products into categories that make sense for your business.
Redirect Scheduler bookings to a thank you page

Track Scheduler event bookings and share additional information with attendees by redirecting them to a Thank You page or specific URL after they’ve made their booking.
