Not every pipeline should be an open book to your whole team. We built Pipeline Visibility so you can lock down your most sensitive deals without cutting anyone off from the pipelines they still need to see.

What is pipeline visibility?

Pipeline Visibility lets admins mark any pipeline as “limited visibility” and choose exactly which users or teams can see it. Everyone else keeps full access to their other pipelines — the restricted one simply disappears from their view.

It’s built for situations like a private, high-value deal pipeline that only a handful of reps and leadership should see, while the rest of the team still needs full visibility into the pipelines they work in every day.

What can I do with pipeline visibilty?

Restrict any pipeline to the users who need it

Mark a pipeline as limited visibility, then choose which specific users or teams have access. Admins can view a full list of every pipeline marked this way, so it’s easy to keep track of what’s restricted and who can see it.

Keep restricted pipelines out of sight

For anyone without access, a limited visibility pipeline is gone — not just from the pipeline view, but from dropdowns, menus, and anywhere else pipelines show up across Nutshell.

Hide the leads underneath, too

Leads that live in a restricted pipeline are hidden right along with it. They won’t show up in lists, reports, or summations, and users without access can’t reach them through direct navigation either.

Keep communication private without hiding people and companies

Restricted users can still see the people and companies tied to a hidden lead — but lead-specific details like emails, activities, and notes stay hidden on those contact and company pages. If you want a person or company fully hidden as well, pair Pipeline Visibility with Nutshell’s existing team-based restriction settings.

Assignment still comes first

If a person, company, or lead is explicitly assigned to a user, that assignment overrides the pipeline restriction — so reps never lose access to leads assigned directly to them.
