Schedule Meetings in Nutshell and Invite Everyone

You can now send real calendar invitations to external participants and add a video conferencing link — all from the activity scheduling flow in Nutshell.

What is this new feature?

When scheduling a new activity in Nutshell, you now have the option to send calendar invitations directly to your external participants. Nutshell sends a real invite to each person, and their response — accepted, declined, or pending — shows up right on the activity.

For meetings over video, the Location field has been upgraded to support video conferencing links. Add your Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams link when scheduling, and it travels with the invitation to everyone you invite.

What can I do with this update?

Send real calendar invitations to external participants

When creating an activity, choose to send calendar invitations to your external participants. Nutshell walks you through a confirmation step before sending, so invites only go out when you’re ready. Each participant receives a proper calendar invite — not just a note in your agenda.

See who’s accepted, declined, or pending

Once invitations are sent, you can see each participant’s RSVP status directly on the activity. No more wondering whether someone actually got the invite — accepted, declined, and pending responses are all visible at a glance.

Add a video call link to any activity

The Location field now supports video conferencing links. Paste in a Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams URL when scheduling, and Nutshell recognizes it automatically. The link is included in the calendar invitation, so everyone has what they need to join — right in the invite.

How do I get started?

The next time you schedule an activity in Nutshell, look for the option to send calendar invitations in the scheduling flow. You’ll also find the upgraded Location field there for adding a video conferencing link.
