UI Design Lead
Nutshell is seeking a full-time, Ann Arbor-based user interface lead to guide the design of our CRM applications: web and mobile. You'd hit the ground running with a well-designed application that is undergoing rapid development and refinement. We're looking for somebody who has experience working with rich, user-oriented, data-driven applications.
You'll work with our product development team to plan and cultivate new features, and with our engineering team to guide them through the building the interfaces you design. You're not expected to be a Javascript expert, but we're looking for somebody who can build their mockups into browser-based prototypes. We use modern HTML5 and CSS tools like LESS to make this efficient.
This is a unique opportunity to join a startup with a quickly growing customer base and well-designed interfaces, but with plenty of blank pages left for you to fill. You'll also get to work at the cutting edge of native mobile interface development.

Web Developers
Nutshell is looking for full-time on-site web developers to expand our capacity for frontend and backend development. We're primarily built around a PHP architecture, but we'd love to talk to coders from all fields. Our focus on high-quality user experience also mandates a large amount of frontend development.

Qualified candidates may have:
- Extensive PHP programming experience
- Strong background in MVC frameworks and practices
- Experience with relational database design
- Background in API design
- Javascript development experience
- Expertise in pixel-perfect, cross-browser CSS
- Enthusiasm for implementing the detail and polish of a well-designed interface
- Experience with unit testing, continuous integration
