Gustavo joined Nutshell in January 2023 as the Vice President of Sales and Customer Services. Prior to Nutshell, Gustavo worked in two main areas, always related to sales and customer services.
As he likes to describe, his career can be divided into two distinct eras: the pharma era, where he worked in pharmaceutical sales and was a heavy user of CRMs, and the SaaS era, where he achieved a comprehensive record of success in building customer-facing teams from the ground up in startups targeting SMBs such as Restream and Pipedrive.
My approach is simple: start outside-in, understand your buyers, and find the right ways to approach and communicate with them to get the most out of your product or service.
Outside of sales, Gustavo enjoys spending time with his family, classic cars, and off-tune karaoke singing.
